Leesburg Police Arrest Two in Stolen Vehicle, Drug Possession Case

Leesburg, VA (August 23, 2024) – Officers from the Leesburg Police Department apprehended two individuals on August 20th after locating a stolen vehicle in the 1300 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE. The car, reported stolen out of Fairfax County, led officers to uncover further criminal activity.

At approximately 5:49 p.m., officers on patrol identified the stolen vehicle and initiated an investigation. The vehicle was occupied by two individuals who were subsequently linked to a shoplifting incident at a nearby store. A search of the suspects also revealed possession of illegal narcotics.

The driver, 40-year-old Codi J. Brown of McLean, Virginia, was arrested and charged with narcotics possession, theft, and unauthorized use based on a warrant from Fairfax County. The passenger, 25-year-old Samantha P. Bob of Bellingham, Washington, faced charges of narcotics possession and larceny.

Both suspects were transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where they are currently held without bond.
