Leesburg, VA – The Leesburg Police Department is currently investigating a burglary at the Zales jewelry store on Fort Evans Road NE. The incident occurred late Saturday night, August 31, 2024, around 11:26 p.m., when officers responded to an alarm at the store.
Upon arriving, officers found that the store had been forcibly entered. Preliminary investigations indicate that three individuals, dressed in dark clothing and reflective construction-style vests and hats, managed to break in and steal an undisclosed number of items.
