Two 19-year-old men from Leesburg are behind bars after police arrested them just hours after an early morning armed robbery at the Sheetz on Edwards Ferry Road NW.
According to Leesburg Police, the incident happened around 3:35 a.m. on June 3. Two men walked into the convenience store and demanded cash. One of them told the clerk he had a gun. The pair got away with an undisclosed amount of money and took off on foot.
By 9:27 a.m., Leesburg officers had located and arrested both suspects in the unit block of Plaza Street NE. No one was hurt during the arrest.
The suspects have been identified as Fidel Ordonez Molina and Jose A. Rosa Munoz, both 19 and both from Leesburg. Police say each is charged with robbery using a firearm and committing a violent act while masked. Ordonez Molina also faces an additional charge of larceny.
Both are being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center with no bond.
This is the third reported armed robbery at a Sheetz in Leesburg in less than a month. Police are still investigating incidents from May 8 and May 18, both of which happened during early morning hours:

Detectives have not confirmed whether these cases are connected.
