LEESBURG, VA — If you’ve got a decorated bike, a marching group, or even a vintage car to show off, Leesburg wants you in its Independence Day Parade.
The town is inviting families, civic groups, youth organizations—really anyone with a little red, white, and blue spirit—to be part of this year’s July 4 festivities. The parade kicks off Friday morning at 10 a.m., starting from Ida Lee Park and heading down King Street before ending at Fairfax Street.
There’s no fee to join, but folks are encouraged to sign up ahead of time. All the details, including the registration form and guidelines, are online at leesburgva.gov/events.
This year’s parade includes a pre-show by the American Originals, known for their powerful performances. Plus, the Patriot Cup Competition returns. Sponsored by Loudoun Now, the cup goes to the standout entry of the day. The winning group will be recognized at a Town Council meeting and get their name etched into the Patriot Cup displayed at Town Hall.
