On Saturday night, a disturbing crime shook a quiet section of Leesburg. According to police, 18-year-old Christian K. Pulley walked into the Leesburg Police Department lobby around 10 p.m. and told officers he had just tried to kill someone he knew.
The attack happened in the 0 block of Catoctin Circle NE—a spot not far from older, established neighborhoods and small businesses that have long been part of the town’s fabric. Police say the victim, a juvenile, was assaulted and strangled before Pulley left the scene and made his way to the police station.
While Pulley was speaking with officers, a family member of the victim called 911 to report the incident. Paramedics treated the victim, who was later released from medical care.
The Leesburg Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division gathered evidence confirming the strangulation. Pulley is now facing charges of Attempted Murder and Kidnapping and is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
Police say the investigation is still active and are asking anyone with information to call them at 703-771-4500.
