The Leesburg Police Department is looking into a late-night burglary that hit a local business just off South Street SE. Around 11:45 p.m. on Friday, September 5, officers were called to J & H Aitcheson, a plumbing supply store at 315 South Street SE, after someone broke in through the front door.
Police say property was stolen during the break-in, though they haven’t yet shared exactly what was taken.
This part of Leesburg—right near the historic downtown corridor—isn’t typically known for break-ins, so the incident has caught some neighbors off guard. There’s no word yet on any suspects or surveillance footage, but the investigation is ongoing.
