Second Suspect Arrested in 2024 Leesburg AT&T Burglary Case

It’s been nearly two years since someone smashed the front door of the AT&T store at Village at Leesburg and made off with merchandise in the early morning hours. Now, Leesburg Police say they’ve arrested a second suspect connected to that 2024 burglary.

Deangelo D. Epps, 26, of Washington, D.C., was recently taken into custody and is being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail. He faces multiple charges including burglary, theft, conspiracy to commit larceny, and destruction of property.

Back in November, authorities arrested another D.C. man—25-year-old Dewayne F. Parham—in connection with the same incident. He was picked up by deputies from the Nottoway County Sheriff’s Office and is currently being held at the Nottoway Correctional Center. He’s awaiting transfer to Loudoun County, where he faces charges including grand larceny and breaking and entering.

The burglary happened around 4:40 a.m. on May 22, 2024. Police responded to an alarm at the AT&T store at 1604 Village Market Blvd. and found the front glass door shattered. By the time officers arrived, the suspects were already gone, and a chunk of the store’s inventory had been taken.

Leesburg Police say the investigation is still active. Anyone who might know something is encouraged to call them at 703-771-4500.
