A 26-year-old Chantilly woman was arrested on a driving while intoxicated charge following a traffic stop near Leesburg.
According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, deputies observed a vehicle having difficulty maintaining its lane near James Monroe Highway and Rockland Lane at approximately 12:37 a.m. on October 17.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop and determined during their investigation that the driver was under the influence.
Iqar Shahid, 26, of Chantilly, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
Shahid was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where she was granted an unsecured bond.
