Leesburg police are looking for two suspects after an armed robbery at the Sheetz on California Drive NE early this morning.
Just after 1 a.m. on May 18, two masked individuals walked into the store near Battlefield Parkway. According to police, they showed weapons and demanded cash from employees. The pair got away with an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise before fleeing the scene.
Thankfully, no one was hurt.
Both suspects were dressed in dark clothing and had their faces covered. Police haven’t released surveillance images yet and are asking for the public’s help.
