Arrest Made in Leesburg AT&T Smash-and-Grab; Second Suspect Still Wanted

More than a year after the AT&T store in the Village at Leesburg was broken into, police have finally made an arrest in the case.

Dewayne F. Parham, 25, from Washington, D.C., was picked up late last month by deputies in Nottoway County—down in Southside Virginia. He’s now being held at Nottoway Correctional Center while waiting to be brought back up to Loudoun. He’s facing several charges: grand larceny, conspiracy to commit larceny, destruction of property, and breaking and entering.

The Leesburg Police say a second suspect, Deangelo D. Epps, 26, also from D.C., is still on the run and wanted in connection with the same break-in.

This all goes back to the early morning hours of May 22, 2024, when police responded to an alarm just before 5 a.m. at the AT&T store on Village Market Blvd. When officers arrived, the front glass door was smashed and merchandise was gone. The suspects had already taken off.

Leesburg Police are still working the case. Anyone who might know something—about Epps’ whereabouts or anything else related to the burglary—is urged to call them at 703-771-4500.
