Car Slams into Leesburg Home, Driver Arrested for Intoxicated Driving

Leesburg, VA – Leesburg Police are investigating a late-night crash where a car drove into a home on Rush Drive, NE, on Sunday, September 8th, around 9:00 p.m. The driver, Erik C. Henderson, 57, of Leesburg, lost control of his 2020 Subaru while heading northbound on Plaza Street NE. After jumping the curb at the Plaza and Rust Drive NE intersection, he went through a fence and slammed into the front of the house.

Thankfully, no one inside the home was injured, but the crash caused significant structural damage.

Henderson was arrested at the scene and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. He is currently held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.
