Classic Cars Return to Leesburg — Here’s What Roads Will Be Closed

If you’re heading into downtown Leesburg this Saturday, you’ll want to plan ahead — several streets will be closed for the 37th annual Leesburg Car Show, happening from 12 to 4 p.m. on October 4.

Presented by the Academies of Loudoun, the event brings rows of classic cars into the heart of town, and it draws a big crowd every year. But with that comes traffic adjustments.

Here’s what you need to know about the closures:

  • Starting at 9 a.m., the following roads will be closed:

    • King Street from North to Loudoun streets

    • Market Street from Church to Wirt streets

    • Cornwall Street from King to Wirt streets

Local Access: Only residents living on Cornwall Street between Church and King streets will be allowed through during the closures.

All streets should reopen by 5 p.m. once the event wraps up.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the show will move to Saturday, October 18. In the event of a cancellation, refunds will be issued within 30 business days.

The car show has been a fall favorite in Loudoun for over three decades — a chance for families to enjoy vintage cars while supporting students at the Academies of Loudoun. Proceeds from the event go toward scholarships for graduating seniors.
