Leesburg, VA (October 10, 2023) – A new exhibit, “Colorful Leaves” by Hillsboro Charter Academy is on display in the Mercer Room at Thomas Balch Library through October 2023.
Hillsboro Charter Academy scholars in grades 1 through 5 created colorful leaves in art class with their teacher, Beth Fuller. These leaves are unlike anything you have seen before as they contain almost every color imaginable. Scholars used paint and oil pastel to make this creative foliage.
The exhibit is viewable during the library’s operating hours: Monday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
