Easter Fun Returns: Leesburg’s Egg Hunt Set for April 12

It’s that time of year again! The Leesburg Parks and Recreation Department is bringing back its beloved Easter Egg Hunt at Ida Lee Park for the 33rd year. Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 12, from 12 to 3 p.m., and get ready for an afternoon of family-friendly fun.

Kids ages 1 to 8 can join the hunt in a designated event area, where they’ll collect eggs using provided bags—no personal baskets allowed. After the hunt, each participant will receive a special treat bag and have a chance to snap a photo with the Easter Bunny. There’s even a grand prize drawing at the end!

To keep things running smoothly, entrance times will be staggered based on pre-registration, which is required. Families can sign up online through Saturday, April 5. The cost is $10 per child, while accompanying family members get in for free. No walk-up registrations will be accepted on the day of the event.

The hunt will take place rain or shine, with parking available in the front fields off North King Street (Business Route 15).
