Leesburg, VA – The annual Holiday & Christmas Parade held on December 9th in Leesburg, Virginia, saw Old Mill Veterinary Hospital clinching the title for this year’s best float. With over 80 entries competing in the parade, the veterinary hospital stood out with its Grinch-themed float, adorned with festive holiday lights and embodying the spirit of the season.

Aysha Hannachi, a veterinary assistant at Old Mill, shared that the inspiration for the float came from the team’s collective admiration for the Grinch movie. She expressed her joy and surprise at winning the competition, noting the high caliber of the other parade entries. The victory was particularly meaningful as it marked a memorable project for a couple of the hospital’s vet technicians who are nearing retirement.

The win secures Old Mill Veterinary Hospital a spot on the coveted Holiday in Lights trophy, which will be displayed at the Leesburg Town Hall.
