In a recent incident at Frederick Douglas Elementary School in Leesburg, Virginia, Chun Wu, a 43-year-old cafeteria employee from Leesburg, has been formally charged with simple assault. The charge stems from an altercation that took place in October 2023 during the school’s lunch period.
According to reports from the Leesburg Police Department, officers were called to the scene on October 19, 2023, following reports of an assault involving a student. It is alleged that Wu engaged in an altercation with the student within the school’s cafeteria. Fortunately, the student involved did not require medical attention following the incident.
The legal proceedings moved forward on April 11, 2024, when Wu was officially served a summons to face the charge of simple assault.
