Leesburg Deli Market Hit by Early Morning Burglary

Leesburg, VA—Leesburg Police are investigating a burglary that took place early this morning at Deli Market,11 Fort Evans Road NE.

Officers responded to the scene around 8:45 a.m. after receiving a report of the break-in. Upon arriving, they discovered that the rear door of the business had been forced open, allowing the suspect to enter.

Preliminary details suggest the burglary happened around 4:47 a.m. A suspect, described as wearing jeans, a black t-shirt, and a grey hat, was seen on security footage removing items from the store.

The investigation is ongoing. Leesburg Police are urging anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity in the area or who has information about the incident to reach out to Detective S. Bultrowicz.
