Leesburg Gears Up for Festive Parade on December 9, Street Closures Announced

As the holiday season approaches, Leesburg’s community spirit shines brighter with the announcement of its much-anticipated annual Christmas and Holiday Parade, set for Saturday, December 9. Residents and visitors alike are invited to experience the festive cheer as the parade takes over King Street, starting at 6 p.m.

In preparation for this spectacular event, King Street will see a temporary closure to all vehicle traffic from 5:30 p.m. The closure will extend from Battlefield Parkway to Catoctin Circle, ensuring a safe and joyous parade environment. The parade route, brimming with holiday magic, will feature Santa Claus and his merry entourage, beginning at Ida Lee Drive and concluding at Fairfax Street.
