Leesburg Man Charged in Child Pornography Investigation

Leesburg, VA – Christopher Collins, 33, of Leesburg, has been charged with one count of possession of child pornography.

The charge stems from a cyber tip relating to child pornography. Upon receipt of the tip, a Leesburg police detective assigned to the NOVA-DC Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force conducted an investigation and determined that Christopher Collins was in possession of sexually explicit material involving a child. Collins was taken into custody without incident on the morning of September 7, 2023 at his home, located in the 600 block of Constellation Square SE. A search warrant was subsequently executed at the residence.

Collins remains held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center with no bond.
