Leesburg Police Arrest Second Suspect in Edwards Ferry Road Shooting

Leesburg, VA (May 31, 2024) – The Leesburg Police Department has arrested and charged a second individual in connection with a shooting that took place last night, resulting in injuries to three young men.

At approximately 7:48 p.m. on Thursday, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE. Upon arrival, they discovered three young adult males with gunshot wounds. The injured individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Two of them have since been discharged.

Early this morning, around 11:36 a.m., police acted on a tip from a community member and arrested Zeon Garner, 21, of Herndon, VA, at an apartment in the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE. Garner faces charges of reckless handling of a firearm and is currently held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
