Leesburg Police Arrest Sterling Man in Thursday Evening Shooting

Leesburg, VA – The Leesburg Police Department has arrested and charged a Sterling resident in connection with a shooting on Thursday evening that left three individuals injured.

At approximately 7:48 p.m. on Thursday, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE. Upon arrival, police discovered three young adult males with gunshot wounds. The victims were promptly transported to local hospitals and are receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Following a swift investigation, authorities arrested 19-year-old Sylvanus Massaquoi of Sterling, VA. He has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding and is currently being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
