Leesburg Police Arrest Suspect Linked to White and Ivory Diamonds Burglary

Leesburg, VA (August 26, 2024) – Leesburg Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the attempted burglary of White and Ivory Diamonds, a local jewelry store, earlier this month. Terrance C. Turner, 34, who has no fixed address, was taken into custody on Saturday, August 24th, around 6:50 p.m., in the 1300 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE.

Turner faces multiple charges, including burglary, destruction of property, and possession of burglary tools. After his arrest, he was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where he is held without bond.

The arrest comes after a detailed investigation into the August 10th incident at White and Ivory Diamonds, located at 1610 Village Market Boulevard SE. When officers arrived at the scene that day, they discovered the front door had been damaged and the store had been entered, though nothing appeared to be stolen. Surveillance footage from the store was vital in identifying Turner as the suspect.

Leesburg residents can take some comfort in knowing that quick police work led to an arrest, even though the crime remains concerning.
