Leesburg Police Arrest Takoma Park Man for Multiple Retail Thefts at Outlet Mall

Leesburg, VA — The Leesburg Police Department arrested a man from Takoma Park, Maryland, following a series of retail thefts at the Leesburg Premium Outlets.

On October 17, 2024, around 3:49 p.m., officers responded to a theft at the Burberry store, located at the Leesburg Premium Outlet Mall on Fort Evans Road. Two individuals had reportedly stolen merchandise, with one fleeing by car and the other on foot. Police tracked down the person in the car and recovered stolen items from Burberry. The second individual is still being sought.

Further investigation revealed additional stolen goods in the suspect’s vehicle from other stores in the outlet mall, including Adidas, Nike, and Sunglass Hut. Following this discovery, police filed additional charges against the suspect on October 22, 2024.

The arrested man, 27-year-old Cleiderson Requena Ramos, faces multiple charges, including:

  • Two counts of felony conspiracy to commit larceny
  • Two counts of felony larceny over $1,000
  • Two counts of misdemeanor larceny under $1,000

Ramos is currently being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
