Leesburg Police Seek Help After Exxon Storefront Smashed

Leesburg, VA — Leesburg Police are investigating an overnight break-in at the Exxon gas station on Catoctin Circle SE, and they’re asking the community for help.

Around 6:30 Friday morning, officers responded to the gas station at 148 Catoctin Circle SE after employees arrived to find the front door shattered and the inside of the store ransacked.

Detectives haven’t released details yet on what may have been taken, and they’re still working to figure out who’s behind the burglary. What’s clear is that the break-in happened sometime overnight, and police believe someone might’ve seen or heard something.

They’re asking anyone who was near the area Thursday night or early Friday morning to check if they noticed anything odd—or caught something suspicious on their security cameras. That includes businesses and homes in the surrounding blocks.
