Leesburg police are asking residents for help identifying a person of interest in a check fraud investigation stemming from an incident earlier this month.
According to the Leesburg Police Department, the incident occurred Sept. 4, 2026, at Potomac Bank in Leesburg.
Police released an image of an individual they are seeking to identify as part of the investigation. The department has described the individual as a person of interest and has not identified the person as a suspect or announced any charges.
