Local McDonald’s Incident Leads to Felony Charges; Two Suspects at Large

Leesburg, VA – Following an investigation into an early morning altercation on Friday, June 21, at the McDonald’s on 965 Edwards Ferry Road NE, Leesburg Police have arrested D’Angelo Bland, 21, of Ashburn, VA. Bland faces felony charges of assault by mob and robbery and is currently held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.

Leesburg Police have also issued warrants for two additional suspects in connection with the incident. Scotty Thomas Jr., 28, of Leesburg, VA, and Christian Mincey, 20, of no fixed address, are each charged with one count of assault by mob and one count of robbery. Both charges are felonies.
