Leesburg, VA, April 16, 2024 — Historic Downtown Leesburg marked the grand opening of a new community gem, CRAFT, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this past Saturday. Located at 3 West Market Street, CRAFT provides a creative sanctuary for residents and visitors alike, offering both ready-made craft kits and an array of bulk art supplies.
Owner Vanessa Borg, a longtime enthusiast of arts and crafts, shared her excitement about the new venture. “We are so excited to finally have folks inside our doors and have loved hearing their feedback so far,” said Borg. “We have lots of arts and crafts-focused events happening each season that will help people of all ages explore their creative side and are thrilled to have a business model that allows us to partner with so many of the amazingly talented artists and crafters and innovators of Loudoun County.”
CRAFT aims to become a vibrant community hub, featuring a rotating calendar of events, including workshops and a Parents Night Out. These activities are designed to engage the community and provide a platform for local artists and crafters to showcase their talents.
As Leesburg continues to evolve, establishments like CRAFT play a vital role in maintaining the town’s historic charm and community spirit, contributing to the colorful and creative landscape of Loudoun County.
