Leesburg, VA (August 21, 2023) – The Town welcomed Dr. Marjan Tofigh on Saturday, August 5 when she officially opened the doors to New Vision Family Eye Clinic.
Services include comprehensive vision and eye health examinations in addition to contact lens exams and fittings, pediatric eye care and binocular evaluation, and LASIK consultations.
Tofigh is an ocular disease residency-trained optometrist, with an emphasis on glaucoma and retina. Not only does she run a women-owned practice but three languages are offered: English, Farsi, and Spanish. Tofigh said she looks forward to being a part of a strong and diverse community like Leesburg.
“Over 95% of optometry schools constitute of women, but less than 10% of optometry practices are run by women,” Tofigh said. “I am grateful and proud that my team and I are actively engaged in closing the gender gap and equality. Pursuing excellence and practicing with utmost compassion is what we strive for and lead by example. We are here to serve our community.”
