Leesburg, VA – The Leesburg Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a commercial bank robbery.
On October 2, 2023, at approximately 3:32 p.m., Leesburg Police responded to a bank robbery at 1007 Edwards Ferry Road NE in Leesburg, VA. The suspect entered the business, demanded cash via a written note, and fled the scene after obtaining cash from the business. The suspect is described as an African American male, 25-35 years of age, approximately 5’8″, medium build, wearing a Nike long-sleeved shirt and black pants with a white decal on the left leg and a blue surgical mask.
