Leesburg, VA – On September 1, 2024, Leesburg Police arrested ten individuals involved in an organized retail theft at the Target on Edwards Ferry Road. Officers responded to a call at around 5:30 p.m. regarding a group of people seen taking items from the store and fleeing in two vehicles. Police stopped the cars as they exited the parking lot and found a large stash of stolen merchandise.
Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the suspects had additional items from other local stores. The investigation is ongoing.
Eight adults, all from New York, were charged with grand larceny, possession of burglar tools, conspiracy, and contributing to the delinquency of two minors, who were also part of the group. The minors were released to a family member. The adults are currently being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center with bond amounts ranging from $500 to $2,500.

- Yoccelin M. Rodriguez Barroso, 31, also charged with no driver’s license and open container of alcohol
- Nicandro Aguirre Guerra, 30
- Yetsai Del Carmen Gerrero Toledo, 22
- Edison Pinto Pardron, 25
This is part of a growing concern about organized retail theft hitting local businesses, and authorities are working with other stores to assess the total extent of the thefts.
