Three Arrested After October Gunfire on E. Market Street

Leesburg, VA — A juvenile from Pennsylvania has been charged in connection with an Oct. 1 shooting incident on E. Market Street, according to the Leesburg Police Department.

The juvenile, whose name hasn’t been released because of age, was taken into custody and is now being held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center. Police say the teen faces multiple charges, including:

  • Two counts of brandishing a firearm

  • Assault

  • Carrying a concealed firearm

  • Possession of a firearm by a juvenile

This follows the earlier arrest of D’Angelo E. Bland, 23, of Ashburn. Bland was taken into custody on Oct. 20 and charged with six offenses:

  • Attempted malicious wounding

  • Using a firearm in the commission of a felony

  • Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

  • Brandishing a firearm

  • Discharging a firearm in public

  • Discharging a firearm across a roadway

He’s being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

A third man, Elijah Crosby, 18, of Lovettsville, is also facing charges—he was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm.

Police haven’t shared the full details of what led up to the incident, but say the investigation is still active. The shooting happened in the 700 block of E. Market Street, a heavily traveled area with homes, businesses, and several schools nearby.
